This is a 5 x 7 acrylic painting done while studying some new techniques. This painting was made as a birthday gift for my best friend Sunder. Sadly, it took so long to coat it with an airbrushed layer of matte finishing for protection that I couldn't send it in time for his birthday. I'm sorry Sunder!

This was painted on white clayboard using a very thin layer of acrylic paint so that I may scratch off the paint for the white hairs to give finer details than a brush would allow. A simple experiment that turned out rather nicely and made it VERY hard to part with the project! But,.. it was inspired BY Sunder, FOR Sunder. You are simply wonderful Sunder, I love you! You're worth my parting with this painting.

My attempt to start up my monthly drawings. This one is for my friend Hima.... o7ebak Hima!!

Here are my latest tidbits of fun. It all started as a Valentine gift for my best friend Sunder, but I kinda liked the idea so I continued the monthly drawings for Sunder as a way to express how much I care about him as well as keep myself constantly practicing sketches and hopefully develop painting skills.

February... "Candy", the start of the series of monthly projects.

March... "Lucky". There's something about this one always makes me happy. Clothing inspired by the classics.

April... Cheesy I know. But fun!

May, I liked the playful feel of this one but the details took forever but still, it's my SECOND favorite.

June... my personal favorite.

July, a semi portrait of my friend "Ellie".

August, Sunder's birth month :) Happy Birthday sweetie!!!

September,... Sally. I did this while slowly slipping into a deep depression. I'm out of it now, but I was unable to work on any more after this one. The others remain unfinished for now. Sketches complete, line work complete, but still waiting on color.
